I have been reading a lot of Portal 2 fanfiction lately, and The Punishment has kicked me into finally drawing what I feel is my first proper Portal fanart.
(warnings: fanfic is spoileriffic, being set at the end of Portal 2, and gets NSFW starting chapter 3. The pr0nz is strong in this one.)

I would wax verbose about the fic and how the characterization of these guys is so fascinating, and how rubitinmyeyes captures the feelings and motion of the characters so beautifully in her illustrations, and how this version of GLaDOS scares the brains out of me, and-- okay. I guess I'm not exactly being concise here. But we might be here for days if I really started in on that. :I
Definitely one of my best-liked Portal fanfics, though.

picshur-wise: I tried to emulate rubit's visualisations of these two while still retaining a grasp on my own style and keeping in mind the models that I like best-- i.e., marshtwain's Blue Sky illustrations, both of Chell's in-game models, and Stephen Merchant. so many sexy faces.

time: 8-ish hours? I'm really not sure, to be honest, but it took a while.
I would have liked to work on this a bit more, but there's a pretty huge Portal-related project that I think I'd like to take on soon, so I want to start focusing on that. :)}
